Firs Safari Tent

Our fully furnished safari tent, Firs, offers the perfect countryside escape for families.

The tent sleeps up to five guests across three bedrooms – two king-size doubles and one single – providing plenty of space to relax after a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside.

Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen area with generous food preparation space, a gas hob, sink with hot running water and a small fridge. The remainder of the tent is open-plan, with a comfortable living and dining area featuring cosy seating, a large farmhouse table and a warming wood-burning stove.

The front of the tent opens onto a spacious deck — the perfect spot for morning coffee or relaxed evening sundowners while enjoying the views. Children will love exploring the nearby woodland, with plenty of fallen branches to gather for the fire.

At the rear of the tent, a short step across the deck leads to the private bathroom cabin, which includes a flushing loo, basin and shower. Our modern gas heating system provides instant hot water throughout.

Duvets and pillows are provided on all beds, and beds can be made up with fresh linen and towels for a small optional extra.

Outside, Firs has its own fire pit, picnic table and chairs, and a swing nestled among the trees. There is also a communal fire pit area for larger groups who would like to gather together in the evenings.

Firs sits within a large grassy field beside a small woodland area and is located not far from our Oaks Cabin, making the two ideal to book together for friends or families holidaying together, while still allowing each group their own space.

Between Oaks and Firs you’ll also find Beeches, a safari tent that can be booked as a communal living space for larger groups. Please get in touch if you’re interested in including this in your stay.
