The glamping collection at Cedar Valley includes four luxury cabins (Woodland, Cedars, Oaks and the Cowshed), as well as Betty the Bedford, a converted 1960s Bedford horsebox, and the Firs safari tent. Cedars, Woodland and Betty are our couples retreats, whilst the Cowshed, Oaks and Firs are perfect for families. Our two campsites, the Paddock and Meadows, are relaxed and spacious, and have beautiful surroundings.

Our fully furnished Safari tents measure 9m x 5m and are erected onto raised wooden platforms which offer insulation from the ground. Each tent has three bedrooms – a large king double, a twin and a bunk room, sleeping six in total. There is a well equipped kitchen area with good surfaces for food preparation, a gas hob, a sink with hot running water and a small fridge. The rest of the tent is an open plan living and dining area with comfortable seating, a large farmhouse table and a wood burning stove. The front opens onto a deck surrounded by a handmade cedar fence which creates the perfect setting for those welcome sundowners!
The bathroom cabins are located on a deck at the back of each tent with a flushing loo, basin and shower. Our new gas heating system supplies instant hot water throughout all units.
Duvets and pillows are supplied on all the beds, and can be made up for you with fresh linen and towels as an optional extra.

Cedars was our original Safari tent in a secluded spot on the edge of woodland, with magnificent views over the valley. In 2021 it will close its canvas doors as a Safari tent and re open as a bespoke trailer chassis cabin offering total peace and tranquility, and a safe and natural environment for couples to enjoy.
Just a stone’s throw away you will find a campfire surrounded by large sandstone boulders. Gather round under the stars or try your hand at cooking outdoors! A large handmade oak table located between the campfire and tent allows Glampers to enjoy their meals under the shelter of the trees.
Oaks and Firs are located in a large grassy field next to a small wood. They are ideal for friends or families wanting to holiday together but equally offer privacy for individual families. Children will love exploring the wood, with plenty of firewood to scavenge and a raised den built into the trees.
Each of these safari tents have their own fire pits, picnic tables and chairs, with swings and hammocks nestled in the trees. There is also a communal fire pit area if larger parties want to get together in the evenings. Oaks is situated opposite our traditional yurt which is available to hire for larger groups.
We’re very excited to launch our fabulous new cabin style accommodation which sleeps up to five people comfortably. One of the cabins houses an open plan kitchen-living area with a wood burning stove and modern amenities, and an adjoining dining room. Both rooms have large glass doors that open out onto a deck so that you can admire the beautiful countryside from inside and outside. The bathroom is adjacent to the cabins in a renovated cow shed, with loos and showers, and hot water on tap! Only a stone’s throw away is the fire pit, to keep you toasty on starry nights.
We are in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, deep in the Hampshire countryside, but within easy reach of both London and the South Coast.
We have two large grassy field located near Bereleigh House which provides the ideal location for campers to come and enjoy. Guests are welcome to explore the field and find the perfect pitch!
We believe its a great location and our aim is to have as little impact on the immediate environment as possible. We have however installed a renevated office containers which houses gas showers, basins and proper loos – for your comfort and enjoyment!
The Kabin Co is a Hampshire-based company with 10 years experience in creating bespoke timber structures. We started out renovating and refurbishing redundant mobile structures and creating new spaces for a variety of purposes. Examples include converting a 1960s Bedford horse box into a successful holiday rental, a 1980s double decker bus into a farm shop and café, and a rice horse box into a mobile pizza oven.
Betty has been a part of Bereleigh Estate since the late 1960s and has enjoyed a relatively relaxed life.
In November 2013 we decided to give Betty a new lease of life. Having failed her MOT for the first time combined with a run down battery and a fried starter motor Betty had been out of action for over a year and was left to weather parked up in a farm yard.
We moved her to an empty grain store and work commenced.
Having got to work it was clear the entire floor/underfloor needed to be ripped out and re built from the Chassie up. The Chassie was in remarkable condition as were the outwalls, and the roof – a welcome relief not to be starting from a complete blank canvas.
